Boucheron voyages to Venice

Commemorating the gem hunters, the unprecedented olfactory journey of one of the oldest French jewelers continues its course. After passing through Egypt, Cambodia, India, Turkey and Brazil, La Collection Boucheron is traveling to a new destination, to the heart of a timeless city that has preserved its tradition of remarkable craftsmanship over the years: Venice.

Like every one of Boucheron’s perfume creations, Cuir de Venise is a unique fragrance. This exceptional Eau de Parfum is inspired by the Floating City’s canals, narrow streets and carnival, but most of all draws on the craftsmanship of Venetian leather artisans. A true treasure renowned across Europe, Venetian leather is everlasting. Crafted by hand, it presents shimmering colors. Its scent, meanwhile, is particularly refined and offers unparalleled honeyed notes.

To celebrate this precious craft, perfumers Michel Almairac and Clément Marx developed a composition with a heart of uncommonly intense guaiac wood essence. They then paired it with woody notes of cedar and patchouli, and spicy notes of cinnamon and ginger to create an extremely rich composition.

Like a second skin, Cuir de Venise is an enveloping, voluptuous and sensual precious essence.
